Product Overview

It's the absolute attention to detail that has made Hogan the authoritative standard for discriminating aircraft model collectors who recognize and appreciate superlative quality, accuracy, and realism. Designed and manufactured by collectors for collectors as accurate, true-to-scale reproductions of actual aircraft, Hogan models simple, snap-fit, solid injection molded components assemble with perfect, professional results in just minutes without the need for gluing, painting, or affixing decals.

This Hogan 1/200 scale Saudi Arabian Airlines Boeing 777-300ER, with registration HZ-AK28 - painted in its retro 1972 livery with a 75th Anniversary Logo (1945 2020) - measures approximately 14-5/16-inches long with a 12-3/4-inch wingspan and includes a display stand and intricate landing gear that has rolling rubber tires along with rotating fan blades in its engines for heightened authenticity.

Currently the most "ordered and delivered" widebody airliner flying today, even having surpassed the much revered Boeing 747, the Boeing 777 is a wide-body, twin-engine, long-range airliner that was conceived by Boeing in 1990 to bridge the then current void between its 767 and 747 aircraft and brought into service in 1994 to replace older DC-10s and L-1011s that were approaching retirement with a new, more fuel efficient aircraft.

Able to seat nearly 400 passengers with ten abreast seating in a conventional 2 class configuration, the Boeing 777-300ER (Extended Range version), which went into service in April 2004 with Air France as its launch customer, is not only Boeing's first airliner to be equipped with advanced fly-by-wire controls, it also has additional fuel capacity as well as an increased Maximum Takeoff Weight over the standard Boeing 777-300 for a range of 7,310 nautical miles. Additionally, the Boeing 777-300ER is more fuel efficient and has lower operating and maintenance costs than some other competing aircraft in its class produced by both Boeing and Airbus, further increasing its demand by airlines seeking new aircraft.
